Fire in the Hold Release Date

Hey folks,

Dan Fedor here, with some exciting news about the next major patch. The wait is almost over, because the Fire in the Hold update is coming out April 21st! Check out a brand new trailer showing off some of the new features:

Some of the new features in Fire in the Hold:

Ship-to-ship combat: Ship weapons and sensors can now be obtained near Ceres, where armed navies and pirates are fighting for control of the asteroids there.

Asteroid Mining: Fly out to the asteroid belt near Ceres and mine for precious resources. Use the ores you find there to improve standings with arms dealers, or sell them for cash. Or set up asteroid claim beacons for passive income.

Fire and Smoke: Damage in ship combat? Want to light a trash can on fire? Indulge your inner pyromaniac.

New items: Ship weapons and rifles, ammo, mining items, new hulls, decor

And also:

**Steamdeck and Gamepad support ** **Steam Cloud Saves **

If you’d like to test out the update now, you can play on the beta branch by opting-into our public_test branch. And you can chat about the update with your fellow spacers in the Blue Bottle Games Discord.
