Seres Preview

Seres lived a life tailored entirely to the needs of others. First as a test subject for harsh VF experiments, then as a ruthless combatant. Suppressing her selfhood to execute orders earned her utility, and with each completed mission, her execution was deferred once more.

Obedience was her only option, until she met a young girl who gave her a name and saw her for who she was. Though she initially approached her under orders, performing only the bare minimum required, the girl rewarded Seres with a sword as a 'friend.'

Finally, someone who valued her very existence, not her utility or worth. That day, Seres swore upon that blade to protect her 'Lady' at all costs.

Yet in a life granted only through utility, abandoning her duty carried a heavy price. Relentless missions, a missing master, and the past she tried to ignore returning as an enemy. The token of their friendship shattered in her hands, leaving Seres on the brink of losing both her sword and her Lady.

Now, Seres stands before Aglaia once more, bound by the conviction that she may bend, but never break. Will she be able to protect what is most precious to her on this island?
