Tens of thousands of you have joined the fight, submitted battlefield reports, filled out surveys, posted reviews, joined discussions, and found an impressive number of ways to break things we were quite certain could not be broken.

The Ministry has been reading.

And, more importantly, the developers have been acting.

YOUR REPORTS HAVE ALREADY CHANGED THE GAME

Since launch, feedback from the field has already led to several changes, including:

A toggle for Soldier Aging.
Automatic save backups to better protect saves after crashes, freezes, or unexpected interruptions.
The ability to Exile soldiers, not just captives.
Manual quantity selection when depositing items into buildings.
The ability to rename Special Creator Soldiers.
Multiple fixes for crashes, freezes, save issues, visual problems, progression blockers, and a number of other issues and bugs.

They are changes already made because you reported them!

THE MINISTRY IS AWARE OF THE CURRENT PAIN POINTS

Your reports have made several priorities particularly clear:

Capture and prisoner conversion lack depth and can feel frustrating.
- We're working on improving the whole experience (high priority - WIP)
Expeditions and battles can become repetitive.
- We will improve variety, pacing, rewards, and reduce grind (high priority - WIP)
Soldier behaviour and combat controls still need work.
- Following, positioning, target selection, control and overall behavior all need more polishing and tweeking (high priority - WIP)
Guidance and clarity still need improvement.
- Some mechanics, interfaces, and objectives are still not explained clearly (high priority - WIP)
Several specific requests are already being worked on or investigated, including:
- Mod support, Co-op mode, visual differences between male and female soldiers, stylizes avatars, more customizations, player camera height, Steam Deck virtual keyboard issue, etc.
Beyond these, we have recorded your feedback on quality-of-life improvements, workforce management, combat readability, difficulty progression, balancing, base management, and many other feedback and frustrations that become very noticeable after dozens of hours of play.
And of course, performance, stability, crashes, freezes, loading issues, and bug fixing are being worked on since Day 1 and will remain a priority throughout Early Access.

Not everything above is simple. Some changes require significant technical research, some will need experimentation, and some solutions may change considerably before we find the right one.

But none of it has disappeared into the bureaucratic void. Your reports are on our desks.

IF YOU ARE CRASHING, FREEZING, OR GETTING STUCK WHILE LOADING

Before submitting yourself for mandatory technical interrogation, please try the following three procedures:

Verify your game files through Steam (Steam Library > Pax Autocratica > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files)
If Super Resolution (DLSS) is enabled, please turn it OFF.
If Frame Generation is enabled, please turn it OFF.

These steps have resolved the issue for many players and can help us rule out several common causes.

THE WAR IS FAR FROM OVER

Early Access means exactly that.

We will not always agree with every suggestion. We will not be able to implement every feature request. And some problems will take longer to solve than any of us would like.

But we will keep listening, keep updating, and keep pouring an administratively irresponsible amount of our souls into improving Pax Autocratica.
