Dear Jerzy,

The general was right, Germans launched the first 10 V-1 missiles towards London today. Fortunately, the parents are safe! I stayed up all night worrying about them. Intelligence found out that Germans set up defences in all directions in the Amaye-sur-Seulles - Tracy-Bocage - St-Germain. I need some sleep, I miss our home in Warsaw, our children's room, our beds. I'll never get used to falling asleep to the sound of gunshots…
