Development diary: Community Builds and Beta Testing

Happy New Year, Miners 🚀

As we move into the new year, we want to highlight the creativity and experimentation coming from our community of testers - specifically the ships and stations players have been assembling in Starminer.

But first a huge thank-you to everyone participating in the beta:

• for stress-testing systems

• for breaking things (sometimes spectacularly)

• for sending thoughtful feedback, logs, and save files

• and for showing how the systems behave under real player pressure.

Your contributions have played a significant role in shaping Starminer, and we’re thankful for the time and effort you’ve put in.

That input has translated directly into action. Over the course of the beta, we’ve fixed hundreds of bugs, polished onboarding, resolved edge cases across core systems, tightened countless small UI interactions and friction points, and improved performance across a wide range of scenarios.

Looking ahead, we’ll be sharing more dev updates as we move closer to release. Development momentum remains strong, and we’re fully focused on pushing Starminer toward its upcoming launch.
