ILL Space 0.2.6.0 pre-alpha Released

ILL Space 0.2.6 is out!

This release features a number of gameplay updates and performance optimizations. Check them out:

Additions:

• Authenticate via Steam or link your Steam account with your existing illspace.com account.

• Energy Routing: Hulk Nodes now act as energy routers, meaning you can switch them off and disconnect station branches to optimize energy routing.

• Overlays: they provide you with better overview of your economy. Use keys "1" and "2" to activate resource and energy overlays which provide you with additional info.

• Time Dilation: Slow down time in critical moments to make better decisions in the heat of battle. Press "P" to activate.

• Sentry Mode: Hulk Nodes with weapons attached can now rotate to act as sentries.

• Selection Tool: Select (Shift + click, Shift + double click), Delete (Shift + D).

• Template Stacking: You can now place build orders on objects which are still under construction.

Fixes and Optimizations:

• GUI performance optimized.

• RTX raytracing optimized.

• Energy routing optimized (You can now build much larger stations with little performance impact).

• Asteroid camera clipping fixed.

• Updated upgrade system.

This is most likely the last release before the 0.3 version, which will bring you a host of substantial and exciting updates including dynamic single player campaign, new environments, nodes, weapons and enemies! Follow us on our social networks to stay tuned with our development.
