Chrono Ark EA 2.02 Update

Hello everyone, this is Hyung-Ju Lee, the director of Chrono Ark. Chrono Ark has been updated to EA version 2.02.

Main Features

Opened all Investigators' Token of Friendship

We've updated the game so that you can now obtain all Investigators' Token of Friendship. Also, we've speeded up the process of building Token of Friendship by allowing the player to gift items to Investigators in all campfires.

Opened Golden Token of Friendship

The Golden Token of Friendship you could only obtain with Phoenix is now open to all Investigators. However, there are some special Investigators whose Golden Token of Friendship you cannot obtain yet. You can obtain Golden Token of Friendship by first gaining the Red Token of Friendship in the Archive, then talking to the Investigator in the final area. There are no gameplay perks to having Golden Token of Friendship, but in the upcoming ending, you'll be required to have Golden Token of Friendship with at least 1 party member.

• Increased the number of retries from 1 to 3 when failing a certain storyline. Also, retries are now available in the Crimson Wilderness segment of the story.

• Overall improvements to skill text.

• Greatly improved Gamepad controls.

• Accelerate+ is no longer guaranteed to appear in the Fountain of Wishes, and it now costs an additional 300 Gold to obtain.

• Reduced the number of keys required to enter Crimson Wilderness from 2->1.

• Workshop - (Beta) Added a mod editor. The mod editor can be accessed through the Workshop Menu in the Main Menu.

• (Japanese) story text has been improved, and Phoenix's first-person pronoun has been changed. Thank you to everyone who helped improve the Japanese translation.

Story

We revised and added new lines to some parts of the Main Story and Records.

• Revised and added new lines to dialogue between certain Investigators in the Crimson Wilderness Archive (Narhan, Helia & Selena)

Added new lines to the flashback scene of the Program Master's memories and the dialogue between the Master and Phoenix

• Added new lines in the first conversation between Lucy and the Master

• Added new lines in the dialogue after battling the Program Master

• Added new lines in the record "Potion Development Journal"

Items

• Taeguk Ring Critical Chance reduced from -3% -> -6%.

• Vadzerald Removed penalty effect, and reduced Attack Power and Healing Power from 18% -> 10%.

• Demon Hunter Removed Critical Chance reduction.

• Joey's Mysterious Powder Evade 8% -> 0%, Max Health 0 -> 5

• Messiah Blade Prototype Attack Power 1 -> 2, Accuracy 3% -> 5%

• Copper Coil When taking 3->2 or more damage, reduce that damage by 2->1.

• Toxic Barrel Damage per turn reduced from 3->2.

• Assassin's Eye Critical Chance increased from 10% -> 25%.

• Shield of Luminosity Critical Chance reduced from 60% -> 40%.

• IV Pack Effect changed to "Whenver an ally escapes Death's Door, they overheal for 4 more."

• Raimeitou, Setsugetsutou Effect changed to "If equipping both swords, increase Critical Chance by 47%."

• Clown Suit Attack Power, Armor increased from 25% -> 33%.

• Hunter's Nose Effect changed to "When healed, the next attack deals 10% more damage." (Max 5 stacks)

• Bronze Motor Increased the number of skills required to activate effect from 5->6.

• Sunset Reworked effect.

• Black Iron Anvil (Crimson Wilderness Special Reward) Added effect: When reforging equipment, show one additional option.

• Relic Display Stand Key (Crimson Wilderness Special Reward) Relic inventory expansion increased from 1 -> 2.

Event Objects

• Abandoned Warehouse When using a key, obtain 1->2 Useful Scrap Metal.

• Blood Bank Increased health consumption, no longer appears in White Graveyard.

• Gold Pile Gold reward increased from 400 -> 500.

Common Skills

Nearly every common skill has been buffed or adjusted including their ratios.

Trisha

• Heart Pierce Reworked effect.

• Shadow Step Reworked effect.

Joey

• Chemical Substance No.12 Added new effect.

Azar

• Sword of Infinity Illusion Sword buff no longer prevents the skill from excluding.

• Shining Aura Now grants an Illusion Sword buff. Buff duration extended.

• Illusion Sword's Calling Added an option to grant 2 Illusion Sword buffs.

• Crescent Slash Illusion Sword buff now causes the skill to cast an additional time instead of critting.

Ilya

• Thunderfrost Strike Effect now activates when the enemy's health is 100% -> 90%.

Pressel

• Adjust Aim Cost increased by 1, added a condition that can reduce the cost of the skill.

• Double Heal Increased healing amount.

• Purifying Barier Increased barrier ratio.

Leryn

• Stats Reduced Debuff Resist.

• Protection Curve, Triple Reaction Formula Increased barrier ratio.

• Acceleration Formula Added Swiftness

• Healing Arc Added 'Cannot be Fixed'.

Selena

• Shooting Star Reduced additional damage ratio.

• Dark Moon Increased additional damage ratio.

Silverstein

• Ricochet Shot Increased damage ratio. ​
• Snipe Increased damage ratio.

Johan

• Lightning Shot Added VFX animation. Damage is now increased based on the amount of skills in hand.

• Sonic Blow Reworked Effect.

• Tempest Added an option to discard the bottom 2 skills in hand.

• Hell Arrow Cost is reduced to 3, and the skill no longer stuns self.

Lian

• Stats Reduced Maximum Health by 1.

Announcement

Official Release

Chrono Ark is scheduled for Official release in the next update. (Q1 2024) The price of the game will increase with the Official Release, so it'd be best to buy the game before then! We're also working on a new PV (Promotional Video).
