PATCH NOTES [06.08.2026]

This update brings a brand-new warrior great sword animation, smarter targeting and item comparisons, refreshed inventory visuals, performance improvements, and a range of important fixes.

New Features

New Warrior Great Sword Animation:

• We have added a new and improved animation for warriors when using a great sword.
• This also comes with the ability to walk. Simply hold Shift to walk and add some extra flair.
• Existing players may need to bind the key manually or reset their key bindings to default in the settings.
• Other classes and weapons can also walk, but do not yet have their own dedicated walking animations.

Rift Changes:

• Removed non-anchored rifts and adjusted the balancing of anchored rifts.

Improved Tab Targeting:

• Tab targeting is now smarter when selecting your next target.

Improved Item Stat Comparison:

• Item comparisons now also include enchantments and gem stats, making it easier to see which item is truly better at a glance.

New Inventory UI Visuals:

• The inventory UI has received updated visuals.

Improvements

Monster Render Distance:

• Tweaked the render distance of some monsters.

City Performance Optimisation:

• Player shops now load their contents on demand instead of always syncing them.
• This should help improve performance in busy city areas.

Bug Fixes

Controls & Input Fixes:

• Fixed touch controls on mobile still allowing some interaction with the world while being held.
• Fixed missing default bindings for the right-hand variants of Shift, Ctrl and Alt.
  • Existing players may need to bind these keys manually or reset their key bindings to default in the settings.

Item & Gameplay Fixes:

• Fixed favourited items being unable to drop on death when affected by negative karma item-drop penalties.
• Fixed an issue that allowed players to equip items above their level requirement by equipping and refining them.
  • Any higher-level items that players are currently wearing will also be de-equipped.
