Hellcard is One Month Old!

Hellcard launched a month ago and, let me tell you, it's been a crazy month! During that time you fought over 5,922,755 battles in the game! Meanwhile, we released 12 updates with over 160 balancing changes, bug fixes, and quality-of-life changes. The biggest change was the rework of the single-player mode to allow full control of companions' hands.

This wouldn't be possible without your feedback! The community is awesome and very active. For the first two weeks, I have spent 10 hours every day just reading and replying to all the feedback we got through the in-game widget, here on Steam Community and our Discord server (which I encourage you to join!). This pales in comparison to the number of hours you all spent in the game though: over** 67.97 years**.

And there is a lot ahead of us. We are working on an Endless mode for those who feel the 12-floor runs are a bit too short like I do. And a new boss. And a whole new class. More cool outfits. Starting artifacts that will allow even more deck customization. But, maybe most importantly, modding support. Personally, I'm the most excited about that one. Over the last month, I read plenty of cool ideas for classes, monsters, cards, and artifacts. And we, being a small team won't be able to implement even a fraction of that stuff in our lifetimes. But if you get the tools, the sky will be the limit.

Talking about us being a small team. We celebrated the launch with a Hellcard-themed cake and took a team photo. We tried to get everyone in one place for it but still had to do some photoshop wizardry to make it happen ːarchduckː
