We’ve Secured New Funding: The Suzerain Universe is Growing

Dear Citizens of the Suzerainverse,

We’ve got some big news to share! Torpor Games has officially closed a minority seed investment round, giving us the financial stability to continue expanding the Suzerain Universe and push ahead with both ongoing and brand-new projects (including one we think you’ll be very excited about).

This funding round strengthens our ability to grow the Suzerain Universe IP, including:

• Project Aperture** DLC**

• Project Vanguard DLC

• Project Fulcrum, a standalone game set in the Suzerain Universe

• And… ***The Conformist

We’re thrilled to welcome several incredible partners into this round: KRAFTON (the team behind PUBG and The Callisto Protocol), 1Up Ventures founded by Xbox co-founder Ed Fries, and Sisu Game Ventures, an early-stage VC firm (whose Principals are the creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake).

One thing we want to make clear: Torpor Games remains fully independent. Our team stays in full creative and operational control. What this investment brings is the stability and support we need to scale our vision and deliver bold, meaningful political experiences to players around the world.
