Rumburg, 1948 - Merkopa this week marked the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Glenhill, which ended the Rumburg–Wehlen conflict and returned control of Datefort to Rumburg, a city with a significant Rummish population. Commemorations reflected a mixture of solemn remembrance and reflection, honoring those who lost their lives in the conflict while also acknowledging the war’s lasting impact on minority communities in the region. The Treaty of Glenhill is widely regarded as a key milestone in the region’s history, establishing a demilitarized zone along the Rumburg–Wehlen border.
