NEW IMPACT DRIVER ARM CANNON IS READY FOR USE!

***We wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the new features included with the most recent update (Nov Patch 2), which was released yesterday. ***

IMPACT DRIVER ARM CANNON

Taking the number of available arm cannons to three, joining the Plasma Grenade and Gravity Gun, the Impact Driver is a devastating melee weapon. It holds five charges and has two primary close-quarter functions: 1) destroying the environment and 2) sending enemies pinwheeling like ragdolls either into the distance or into the nearest solid surface.

FIREFIGHT PLAYLISTS

This feature simplifies the process of level selection in Firefight mode. Rather than having to return to the main Firefight menu screen each time you want to change the level you're playing on, you can now hit the 'Playlist' button, and add whichever levels you want to run through in your session. Then, after completing a level, you simply select the next level in your custom playlist if you want to keep going.

NEW EXPLOSION EFFECTS

Explosions are now much more explosive, with blasts creating more particles and debris. You can see before and after comparisons below, and the gifs above, particularly the last one, also show the new effect in action.

Note: The new explosion effect is currently disabled during RTX, but there will be a fix in a future update.

Thanks as always for your support and for playing Severed Steel. We hope you enjoy the new features, and don't forget there's even more additional content still to come!
