Season 7 Patch 1 - Patch Notes

The first patch for Season 7 arrives today and it brings many important fixes to the players such as fixes for infinite loading screens, Detective Missions, Solar Pass XP increase and more!

🆕 New Content

• Quality of Life Improvements

  • Improved Solar Pass XP Earnings for ALL events outside of the Live Tab

    • Values based on race timing, difficulty, etc.

  • Mazda RX7 moves to Daily Driver

  • Added Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series to the German Performance Dealership

    • 12,500,000 Solar Coins; Supercar class, must be level 30 to buy

• Fixed multiple localization issues

• Fixed Detective Missions

• Removed "Equip Clothing" Daily Challenge

• Changed the quest location name of HKI STADIUM to better represent its location

• Fixed the thumbnails for the BMW x Puma Taxi contract

• Fixed worldmap contract information not being visible

• Fixed thumbnails not being the correct ratio

• Fixed item names overlapping in online shop

• Fixed avatar rendering when equipping a stubble moustache

• Fixed skin interpenetration for male/female Sukajan JDM outfit

• Fixed the timing on the smoke can emote

• Fixed birds FX texture

• Fixed infinite loading when having the plague doctor outfit equipped

• It is now possible to open URLs with browser when steam overlay is disabled

  • this fixes the issue where players could not buy Diamonds on Steam

• Fix wrong reward displayed in worldmap panel for contracts in Live Events

• Fixed the BMW M4 GT3 EVO delivery mission payout

  • also fixed other Car Delivery payouts through the Live Tab system

    • eg. Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Car Delivery mission

• Fixed Online Store presenting all owned items as unacquired, allowing repurchase with Diamonds

• Fixed traffic not being hidden in photo mode

• Fixed some slot machines not being accessible

• Fixed trees showing up in water in Ibiza

• Disabled GIPortals (affects cockpit lighting)

  • We will work on improving this technology before implementing it again for an overall improved lighting for vehicle cockpits

⚠️ Known Issues

Although the patch fixes many key issues for players, we are still working on some other known issues from player reports and results from our QA. We apologise for any inconvenience.

You can see the known issues below:

• 2 Crown Jewels cannot be completed: 

  • Nacre

  • Sapphire

• 1 race on Ibiza cannot be completed:

  • Highway to Heaven

• Mateo Garcia Taxi Mission spawns vehicle in wrong direction resulting in points loss

• Louis Montrose taxi contract cannot be completed because the drop-off parking zone does not register the vehicle as parked

• Layla Saidi has an issue with red lights during the contract

• Motion blur can cause smearing artifacts on your own vehicle at speed

• The livery lock is being reached far more often than intended

• Removable spoilers can cause shadows to appear

• Nissan 370Z Nismo - windscreen wipers do not work and the indicator in cockpit is not working

❤️ Our Final Message

We hope you enjoy Season 7 with these additional fixes! We think the improved Solar Pass XP with the Live Tab system will have players enjoying the various things to do in TDUSC while also still having fun. Remember though, the Live Tab is still the BEST place to earn rewards and play through Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown!

We can also confirm that through the Online Store, on September 16th at 2:00AM UTC, you'll be able to claim 100 Diamonds through the 'gift' system of the Online Store. You'll only be able to claim this once, and you'll have exactly 1 week to claim the 100 Diamonds until it resets to 10 again.

Additional bundles from previous seasons will be arriving within the next week or so as we work on its pricing before publishing them to the online store! We'll communicate this once they are there!
