June 10th Patch Notes

Hello Medics, today we are releasing a patch to fix a few key issues identified in the game build of Medic: Pacific War. Patch 0.1.1 is now available on Steam.

With this update, we’ve focused on quality-of-life improvements alongside regular updates and fixes. We are closely monitoring your feedback to continue to plan future patches. Thank you for all the reports!

New Features

• Machine Guns Bursts: Enemy Machine Guns now reload between bursts, giving players time to find an opening to advance. Additionally, Machine Guns now provide continuous fire across the battlefield, engaging Allied infantry.

• **Steamer Mode: **Enabling this mode disables licensed music, which will help prevent potential demonetization.

Changes

• Unlocked Okinawa Lifeline. Now you don’t have to complete the Pearl Harbor Lifeline to access Okinawa 

• Changed the soldiers’ helmets in the Philippines chapter

Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed the keybinding system 

• Improved bomb explosion visuals. They now create more dusty chaos on the battlefield 

• Balanced prices in the item shop 

• Fixed a progress blocker in the Philippines chapter (a collapsed area that wouldn't open) 

• Various fixes to cutscenes throughout the game 

• Fixed the ranges of machine guns in the Philippines 

• Fixed the Lifeline tutorial pop-up not displaying correctly on Pearl Harbor Lifeline 

• Fixed the helmet type depending on the maps 

• Fixed a few of Mayers’ movement animation glitches 

• Improved audio volume levels and playtime consistency in multiple places 

• Other minor fixes and optimizations

Upcoming changes

In the near future, we will address the following: 

• New and improved dialogue for certain NPCs

• Performance improvements for the Philippines chapter (and beyond) 

• Further fixes to cutscenes 

• Gameplay balance adjustments
