Quick update

The early access release

The release of TasteMaker exceeded all my expectations. It is amazing to hear that people enjoy the game. I also want to thank everybody for all the great feedback and suggestions.

My apologies if I haven’t been able to reply to your feedback, I tried to reply to as many messages as I could but failed to keep up. I also made the stupid mistake of focussing most of my attention on the discord server and forgetting to check the steam forums and reddit. I will make sure that I will check the steam forums more often from now on.

Update cycle

I plan to release updates on a predictable schedule. Hopefully this will make it easier to follow the development of the game. My current plan is to release bi-weekly updates on a Thursday. I will write a blog for every update and post it on Steam and the TasteMaker website.

Roadmap

While the early access release has been a big milestone, it’s certainly not the end of the journey. I will keep working on TasteMaker for a long time to come. As a way to share my ideas, I’ve created a roadmap for the game. I would love to hear your feedback on it. Please keep in mind that this roadmap is not intended as a rigid planning.
