Top 10 August Paintings From SuchArt Community

Hey!

It’s time for…drum roll... top 10 august paintings by SuchArt community members, yay! Yeah, we know it’s September already and we should have done it sooner, but we’re all humans, so please forgive us. SuchArt discord server (the place we’re taking all the masterpieces below from) is constantly growing, and we almost hit 1k members now — no wonder there were so many good paintings last month. So good, that we just can’t resist sharing those with you!

Again, this top is not about grading or “places”, and the order doesn’t reflect the quality of the works, so please keep that in mind.

Lastly, a quick reminder that we’re still giving out SuchArt demos each Friday on our discord, which you can join here: discord.gg/4vTRcfS

And now we’re officially done with the intro, so let’s go!

Squid Bro in their natural habitat looking fab and fresh. Probably even too fresh.

I’m not sure what exactly is happening in this pic, but it definitely looks awesome with those juicy colours and overall cartoonish vibe. And look at the guy — I personally feel his shock being on the other side of a monitor!

Himputti

I just love how Himputti only used black and orange-yellow gradient to create a painting that deep. It’s rather minimalistic, but the small details on the tree and the elephant make it complex at the same time. And it reminds me of the Lion King, which I adore.

Frank H

If I were to categorize this painting in terms of belonging to a certain artistic style/movement, that’d be impressionism. Light, airy, romantic. The colour scheme doesn’t match, but who cares — it looks good!

Squishy

Squishy, who has been producing an amazing series of paintings with her very own unique style! So we cheated and added a second painting of hers.

TheHauntress

I really like the atmosphere of this one — that greyness, fog, birds flying away. Not somewhere I’d like to be, but definitely something cool to look at!

Ruby

Ruby demonstrates that art has no limits — be it canvas, wall or whatever.

Ty

The sky is blue, the grass is green, the clouds are white — it’s plain, but it’s the way it should be. A quintessence of the perfect summer day!

LIL LEGEN

The great use of colours and spray — you can almost physically feel the foamy waves!

Weaponized_JazzCabbage

An amazing futuristic landscape with a lonely cactus — I wonder what’s down that road?
