Hello brave adventurers!

We are a small indie studio Stellar Fish. Glad to meet you! Here are a few words about the game Spark in the Dark, that we have been working on for over 3 years.

Spark in the Dark is a hardcore Dungeon Crawler in the dark fantasy genre.

The game was inspired by the great dungeons from John Tolkien's Legendarium and the Chronicles of Siala.

You are about to go to the depths of the gloomy ancient Dungeon.

Here, awaiting you, are numbers of affairs in the world around, where you are to use various contraptions, find keys, pick locks, work with traps and much much more.

You will find equipment and weaponry, and can upgrade them. Equipment wear / mending.

Many battles with scary monsters that the Dungeon is teeming with. Each battle could be deadly. Getting wounds.

Halts by the campfire to have some rest, heal wounds, do some reading, etc.

The game has several classes of characters with unique abilities. You get your hero to develop his skills and abilities whilst using them, for example, when picking a lock, defusing a trap, or fighting with a sword. The characteristics of the hero affect the interaction with the environment. For instance, the strength and dexterity of the hero along with the weight of his equipment determine successful rappelling.

Powerful lore is an essential part of Spark in the Dark. Therefore, the game has a lot of books, notes, diaries. In the gloomy depths, you will learn the history of the eerie Dungeon and disclose ancient secrets.

Large, detailed levels of the Dungeon, were created by our designers with a great deal of realism. Procedural generation is widely used as well. Monsters, random events, equipment, loot, many interactions, stats are generated differently each time.
