Hello everyone!

We know that many of you have been looking forward to the return of the Animalia update, and we want to start by thanking you immensely for your patience.

But now, with some tweaking and testing, we're happy to announce:

The update is back, and better!

• Critical bug fixes that affected gameplay and performance.
• Improvements to Animal systems such as balancing. (we're making adjustments to the hunger and thirst balancing)
• Graphical and performance optimizations

This is just the beginning - new updates are on the way with even more content and fixes!

IMPORTANT NOTICE – NEW STATUS AVAILABLE!

All animals now feature complete and detailed stats for each growth stage: Baby, Juvie, Sub Adult, and Adult.

From now on, each species has its own unique attributes such as:

Health Stamina Oxygen Food Water Attack Armor Fortitude Weight

This update allows for balanced combat analysis and better tracking of each animal's evolution! Note that the stats may be adjusted at any time if any imbalance is found.

IMPORTANT - CONNECTING WITH EPIC GAMES ACCOUNT ON ANIMALIA

We're working to improve Animalia's cross-player integration, and we want to alert all players to an important point:

The game may ask you to connect to your Epic account via the NAVIGATOR. Be aware:

When prompted, the game will open an external browser window for you to log in with your Epic account.

Once logged in, you can press Alt+Tab and return to the game.

This process is safe and necessary to link your account correctly.

If the window doesn't open or crashes, we recommend:

Close and restart the game.

This step is essential to guarantee access to online features.

EASY ANTI-CHEAT (EAC)

Animalia uses the Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) system to maintain the integrity and security of the game environment.

If you are experiencing errors when starting the game related to the EAC, follow the steps below to reinstall the service correctly.

HOW TO REINSTALL EASY ANTI-CHEAT - STEP BY STEP (STEAM VERSION):

1-Access the Animalia installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Animalia

2-Inside this folder, double-click on InstallAntiCheat or go to: EasyAntiCheat Double-click on the file: EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe

After that, try to open the game normally.

Important:

Make sure your antivirus or firewall isn't blocking the EAC.

Add the game and EAC to the exception list if necessary.

We have identified that some players may notice excessive dark shadows in certain areas of this map in particular. This is caused by a small graphical conflict with Unreal Engine 5's Lumen lighting system.

To reduce or eliminate this visual defect:

NEW SERVER ORGANIZATION

As of the new update, we're implementing a server filter to improve your multiplayer experience!

IMPORTANT NOTICE - USE OF THE “OFFICIAL” TAG ON SERVERS

To ensure clarity, transparency and confidence in the Animalia multiplayer experience, we would like to inform you:

Unofficial servers may NOT use the “Official” tag in their names, descriptions or titles.

The “Official” tag is exclusive to servers managed directly by the Animalia team, who will have some of the DEVs overseeing them.

Only servers authenticated and maintained by the development team will have the [OFFICIAL] tag that will appear in the game filter.

ADMIN PANEL UPDATE

Attention, server administrators!

With the new update, we've made an important change to the Admin panel related to adding characters to the game:

🔄 Now, when adding an animal via the Admin panel, it will only have the Juvenile (Juv) stage.

❌ It will no longer be possible to directly select the Baby, SubAdult or Adult stages when adding the character.

Why this change?

To maintain more balance and natural progression in gameplay

To avoid abuse and unbalance in PvE/PvP servers and Realism

To encourage the gradual evolution of animals in the game environment

Growth continues to be possible normally from the baby stage during gameplay, according to the time and actions taken by the player.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - DISCONTINUATION OF THE OLD VERSION OF ANIMALIA

Please note that the old version of Animalia will only be maintained until August 2025.

As of August, this version will be officially discontinued and will no longer receive updates, corrections or support.

Why this change?

Our focus is on the new version, which brings graphical improvements, a refined progression system, new maps, animals, bug fixes and greater stability.

Maintaining two versions limits our development and causes division in the community.

What you need to know:

~ The old version will continue to work until the beginning of August, but with limited resources and no new fixes.

We recommend that everyone migrates to the new version of Animalia, which is already available with several improvements.

Data from the old version will not be transferred and the saves have been changed, so if there is an animal saved in the slot, it will lose its progression.

This version is in the current steam version of the game. It will soon be moved to the “oldversion” tab in the Steam Beta branch. We recommend updating to the new version to continue receiving support and updates.
