September Devlog

Happy September everyone! We've been continuing to work hard on the game and want to update you on some of the awesome things we've been working on.

Firstly, we recently released a new trailer showing off all things One More Island. Check it out here:

Management menus

Management aspects, such as Worker Management (to assign workers to be dedicated carriers or builders) and the Ledger (to see how your production is going), are currently being expanded. What would you like to see in these menus?

Brick buildings

From Tier III a new building material is introduced, namely Brick. Build a Clay digger on a river to gather clay and create bricks from them. Make sure you have a steady brick production because maintenance on brick buildings is more expensive as well.

New crops

The past month several crop sprites for the higher-tiered crops have been replaced. On the left you see 3 versions of “Spices” for Tier II. On the right you see “Coffee”, “Cotton” (Tier III) and “Indigo” (Tier IV).

Difficulty select

To ensure everyone can have a good time, and making the game more fun to play again, the difficulty is now customizable. Control how much taxes you have to pay, how islands look like, and of course how quickly your buildings degrade.

Kitchen

Several new production chains have been implemented this month and I would like to highlight the Kitchen. The kitchen processes Raw beef (from slaughtered cows) and Spices and outputs Conserved meat. Your workers are bound to love that
