Honeycomb: The World Beyond - Official Release Date & Upcoming Demo!

The moment you've all been waiting for is finally here. After years of hard work, testing, and sharing our development journey with you, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that Honeycomb: The World Beyond will be officially releasing September 8th! Save the date - that's when you'll finally step foot on the vibrant, mysterious world of Sota7.

If you're feeling a bit impatient, though, don't worry. You'll get a chance to test everything out early in our free demo which is dropping August 31st!

As a bioengineer for EON, your mission is critical. Earth relies on your ability to explore this exuberant planet, catalog its exotic flora and fauna, and use deep crossbreeding mechanics to unlock genetic secrets that could save humanity. Whether you're carefully setting up your first research laboratory or venturing deep into unfamiliar biomes, Sota7 will challenge your survival skills and reward your curiosity.

Play the Demo on August 31st

We know September 8th might still feel a bit far away, so we have another surprise for you. Starting on August 31st, we will be releasing a playable demo! This demo will give you a taste of what it’s like to walk in Hennessy O'Quinn's boots. You'll be able to land on the planet, gather your first resources, experiment with basic base-building, and get a feel for the bioengineering tools before the full launch. It’s the perfect opportunity to prepare yourself for the challenges ahead. The demo should give you around 1 hour of playtime.

What to expect in the full release:

• Deep Bioengineering: Crossbreed plants and animals in order to develop entirely new species.

• Base Building: Construct and upgrade your own laboratory sanctuary to process resources and conduct advanced experiments.

• Vast Exploration: Navigate diverse biomes filled with breathtaking landscapes, hidden riches, and unknown dangers.

• Survival Mechanics: Sota7 is beautiful but can be hostile. Gather and craft whatever it takes to survive.

• Sweet animals: you will encounter many unique animals, some are cute and friendly, while from others you will have to run away.
