Changes since the 22 May 2026 release

VR

• Fixed bug that results in blank screen when loading game.

• Fixed red speed-violation warnings that appeared skewed and unreadable in VR.

• Menus no longer float in a black void — added a subtle dimmed backdrop behind the UI.

• Selection/highlight boxes (the pulsing green prompts) now render correctly in VR.

• Added left and right VR hand pointers that automatically hide while you're driving.

• More reliable at staying in VR driving mode.

• Roomier-feeling cab in the Porschini in VR.

• The hazard light switch is now interactive in VR, like the gear stick, handbrake and indicator stalk.

• Foliage no longer shows up in mirrors — cleaner reflections and better performance.

• Tidied up VR controller handling: re-enabled controllers for headsets that require them, and disabled partial controller support.

Controllers & Steering Wheels

• Fixed Steam Input device detection and classification.

• Steam controllers are now correctly recognised as gamepads.

• Restored on-screen menu control hints when using Steam Input.

• Fixed steering-wheel input setup reloading, plus a clutch stall fix.

• Fixed tiny, hard-to-read text on the wheel setup screen.

• Added separate Park, Neutral and Drive bindings for automatic gearboxes — for wheels that have dedicated reverse or park buttons.

World & Environment (San Jose)

• Added new buildings to San Jose.

• Performance improvements: building LODs and removal of duplicate houses.

• Fixed overlapping road sections and roadblocks that had reappeared.

• Fixed a pavement collider issue.

• Improved tree and hedge lighting, gentler tree sway, and fixed the glow lights on the van.

• Wind behaviour fix.

Traffic & Pedestrians

• Cars now stop for pedestrians at zebra crossings.

• Toned down drone traffic.

• Experimental improvements to traffic AI.

Vehicles

• Fixed missing headlight layers on the Porschini.

• General vehicle tweaks and a hazard button.
