Playtest now available!

Hello,

A great many of you applied for the Patron Playtest in the recent days. Many thanks to all who wanted to take part! And, well, the day has come! For those of you selected by Steam (randomly), access to the beta game version is ** now available for the duration of this weekend **, July 17 - 18th.

What is this game version like? *

First of all - unlike the demo, there is no time limit, and no restrictions of any kind. Second, a lot more different types of mechanics are operational (social classes and their specific needs, social policies are a real thing now as well as potential social problems). Third, the entire research panel is now also open (all the way to the Patron's Mansion).

Please note that this game version is also NOT FULLY COMPLETED, but it is far more completed than was the case with the demo version. Our job is now to listen to the feedback and allocate time to improve what needs to be improved (and add a few more missing features).

What is the goal for the Playtest Participants? *

Basically, just play the game, and do your best to be a successful Patron of your colony. Examine and try all the different options and possible courses of action. At the same time, keep an eye on possible technical issues and bugs. Whatever feedback you might have, we're happy to receive it!

To make the Playtest as productive as possible, please keep your save games ( .sgs files from the Saves directory) and log files ( PatronLog.txt

• remember that a new log file is created every time you launch the game, so if you had a crash or something, retrieve the exact log created during that session), and send them to us with your feedback. You're free to send us these files even if you experienced no issues at all, that will help us analyze the resource flow over time and general balancing feeling.
