Early Access - Patch 4 (0.7.58)

Hello witches,

Today’s update brings another batch of fixes. Thanks everyone for your reports! Additionally, we made some smaller QoL changes - most importantly, picking up items should now be easier. Still, expect more improvements on this topic in the future.

The full patch notes are as follows:

Bugfixes:

• Opening Chests will no longer cause the game to crash

• Reusable Chests can now be opened again after a week

• Plants and other pickable items will now correctly respawn after a year ends

• Quest Statues thrown in the sea will now correctly respawn after a day

• Swapping tools with Hold/Use will not longer cause a glitch where the tools are stacked on top of each other

• Handing out resources for any Blueprint quest will no longer freeze the game

• Weather will now correctly change after after the year ends

• Snow will no longer appear on in-house plants

• Feathers will no longer disappear into the ground

• Loading the game will no longer cause issues with Compendium pages display

• Fixed an issue that could occasionally prevent eggs in the Incubator from hatching

• Fixed an exploit that could allow the player to use a gamepad to sell Key Items on the Stall or give them to NPCs as a gift

• Fixed an issue that could cause not wearing pants to make Abrill disappear after loading a game (yes, really!)

• Jump SFX now correctly changes volume with the SFX setting

• Watermelon Lemonade removed from “Herbs” tab

• Exploding Mushrooms no longer levitate

• It is no longer possible to put any item in the hand by drag & dropping it from Inventory

• Painted walls will no longer change color on their own

• Paffti Shrines now correctly give gifts

• Using a key at exactly 3:55 AM will no longer cause Abrill to be knocked out

• Witch exam: Cuflow Husbandry now completes correctly

• Eggs will no longer disappear from Incubators after loading a game

• Reward from Basic Geology is now different than Basic Conchology

• Fixed Plenty Fertilizer

• Fixed Driftwood model, which appeared after breaking a chest

• Saved a poor Tzoru who was about to drown under a Waterfall. He’s fine now!

• NPCs no longer slide when they attempt to greet us and give us something at the same time

• Fixed an issue that could cause characters to freeze while eating. Due to the very random nature of this issue, any feedback you could provide about its occurrence is appreciated.

New features and improvements:

• Improvements to interaction: it should now be easier to pick up items

• Added a new level of Tools upgrade in the Service Book

• Save overwrite warning will now also appear when clicking “New Game”

• Further context improvements to “I believe I can fly” quest

• Improved Cauldron UI: adding any sort of Wood to it is now faster

• Added on/off Grid snapping switch while building structures

• Food now restores more Stamina

• Adjusted Gemstone Decoration model

• Cuflow Snacks are now craftable

• Added two new blueprints to Rogost's store: Smelting Furnace and Whistler (for scaring off Hedgemoles)

• Gemstone Trophy no longer needs to be crafted twice

• Using a Sickle now gives a change to obtain seeds during harvest

• Adjusted summoning Tzoru while Abrill is in the water

• Radar will now disappear during cutscenes

• Minor UI changes
