🍺 Brewers Club Monthly 🍺 Brewmaster Developer Update #2
Hi Brewers Club
Welcome to the July issue, where we'll be giving you a Brewmaster Developer Update! 🍻
Don't forget, you can sign up to our Brewers Club Newsletter to get these updates direct to your inbox and be the first to hear about alphas and betas when we announce them.
Brewmaster Developer Update
Since our last Brewers Club Monthly, we've come even further with development! Our liquids are looking better than ever and our grains are starting to take shape too. It's a very exciting time and we can't wait to show you some of that progress!
💦 Liquids, liquids, liquids (and grain) 💦
Take a look at our new pouring! Liquids in general are really difficult to get looking right digitally, so pouring liquids dynamically is even more difficult. We've spent so much time working on this, and we're getting super close to to being happy with it.
When you pour too much water (or beer) into your glass it can overflow. It happens to the best of us, and will not doubt happen to all of us when we first get our hands on Brewmaster. So of course we want to include some nice overflowing in the game.
We've also been working on how our beers will look, by working on the shader that powers them all. Just have a look at that in action in this tweet, doesn't it make you thirsty? (https://twitter.com/AurochDigital/status/1416170784037294083). It gets us bubbling with excitement! Haha, get it?
🧪 Behind the scenes 🧪
We've been busy working on making more brewing equipment and different ingredient assets too. Right now our artists are working closely with our code team to get one kind of every object you need into the game to be able to brew a beer from start to finish. We'll hopefully be able to show you all of this in the very near future.
Not only all of that gestures at above but our chemical simulation has made great strides too, with absolutely loads of data for ingredients now our system. The carbonation system is working too, so all those amazing yeast cells munching on the sugars (yum) will now produce carbon dioxide (less yum), which is what gives beer that beautiful sparkle. ✨

🍻 Auroch Team Beer Tasting 🍻
Some of the Brewmaster team had a day of tasting lots of different beers together, including some local ones! It wasn’t only tasting, it also included a lot of history and facts about beer.
To find out what everyone's favourite beers from the day were, check out this Twitter thread, including a cute pic of a bonus bun! 🐰
📊 Our recent survey results! 📊
We absolutely love hearing back from our community, (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeic-Q8vibxs8bXD6AdMRwVy9QRUK7eLDXMMz6sLHnrclPI4Q/viewform)!
We appreciate all the useful feedback you've given us, all about what you want to see in the game. We've put together a lovely little infographic for some of the bits we wanted to share.
From what other drinks you're interested in, to how much of a gamer you are, and a few others in between. Check out the image above to see some of the results, and click here to see it on Twitter to see a larger version.
🎧 Even more podcasts about beer! 🎧
Brewmaster's Producer, Peter, joins Donnie from the Craft Brews and Geek News Podcast as they talk about why we felt the need for a home brewing simulator to exist, and talk about the home brewing community across the UK and beyond.
