Meet The Holy Patrons of The Forge

Greetings!

It's time we started telling you more about the individual factions in Anvil Saga. Meet the clergy, a political juggernaut of the Middle Ages.

The clergy held a strong influence on those who lived during the Hundred Years' War. From the formation of social institutions to the development of science, technology, art, and medicine.

In Anvil Saga, you'll only meet priests and monks. Depending on your relationship with the church, you may gain bonuses – for example tax exemptions – or they'll make your life difficult. Have an argument with one of them to see what happens. ;)

The monks will order general household items at higher prices, along with religious items – crucifixes, bowls, and icon frames. It remains to be seen what they do with all of the goblets they order on a weekly basis.

The witches are the sworn enemy of the Church. The clergy feared magic and did everything they could to protect their congregations from it. You'll have opportunities to help them defend against the dark forces in a series of global events that will affect the world!
