Open PlayTest Is Coming!

Greetings, Strategy lovers!

Due to the great reception of the Closed Beta, we are happy to announce that there will be an Open Beta before the launch of the game on January 28, 2022, where you can test the new additions to the game since the Closed Beta and the** improvements applied to the game following the feedback received** from the community during the Beta, we can't wait for you to enjoy the amazing gameplay and new features of Ancient Wars: Sparta Definitive Edition before launch.

Ancient Wars: Sparta Definitive Edition Open PlayTest begins January 12 and will continue until January 17.

Open PlayTest Access

You can register for the PlayTest on the Steam page of the Game Store to be notified when the Open PlayTest is available or you can simply give it to play freely in the PlayTest section from January 12th.

The number of participants will be unlimited, so that everyone will have free access to the Open PlayTest from January 12th.

What content will the Open PlayTest have? It is a PlayTest so the content will be reduced compared to the release version in Early Access and the final release, the Open PlayTest will have the following content:

• 4 Civilizations: Spartans, Persians, Egyptians and Macedonians.
• Game modes: Classic Skirmish, Conquest and Domination.
• 12 Maps: 9 for Classic Skirmish, 3 for Conquest and Domination.
• Multiplayer

What languages is the Open PlayTest available in? The Open PlayTest will support voice-over and text in English only.

Can I talk / post / create content about / or stream the Open PlayTest? Yes, during the Open PlayTest you are allowed to** record, or broadcasting **any content or gameplay. We also welcome your feedback on our Official Game Discord or Steam Store Forum.

Can I collect footage from the Open PlayTest to use in later content if that content is released later? Yes, you can capture footage of the Open PlayTest to use at a later date. However, there will be changes and updates between Open PlayTest and launch that may cause captured content to be inaccurate or out of date.
