Delivery INC - Situations Showcase

Help! We’ve got a situation here…

Over the last few months, we’ve been fully focused on adding a feature we like to call “Situations”. Your delivery drivers will occasionally find themselves facing a difficult challenge and they will reach out to you for helpful advice. What kind of challenges will they encounter? Let’s take a look at an example:

Oops, this is what you get when you ignore people’s special requests for there to be no food in the vehicle. Now you’ve got a nasty situation on your hands. What advice would you give your employee Lewis in this case?

Your choices matter

Hope you choose wisely, because in Delivery INC your decisions have a chance to affect gameplay. Your vehicle could get damaged, a bad review could be left, your income could be reduced, and much more. The consequences aren’t always bad though. You could also earn extra money, guarantee a 5 star review, have a driver gain a positive trait, and many other things.

Randomness and risks keeps things fresh

We have been working to create lots of interesting and unique situations that can occur with your drivers. The little bits of randomness we’ve sprinkled in help keep things feeling fresh each time you encounter them. You will not always be able to remember the correct choices to get the best outcome.

My personal favorite example of this is our “accident” situation. Someone has crashed into your driver’s vehicle and you must take steps to help handle the situation. The first time you encounter it, it might be a young man behind the wheel. The second time, an elderly lady. The third, a businessman. They will each react differently to the choices you are given. You can even take a chance on bribing the businessman to pay you enough money for a replacement vehicle. If it works you’ll have enough cash to buy the delivery vehicle of your dreams, but what if it fails? How will he react to you trying to bribe him? Is the risk worth it?

Many paths to explore

We’re crafting each situation with exploration in mind. We want to deliver plenty of choices for you to traverse and enjoy. Our goal is to make these situations an exciting adventure. Even if you’ve already encountered the situation before, you might find a path that ends in a better result.
