WooLoop is now Steam Deck Verified!

WooLoop is Officially Steam Deck Verified!

After a lot of preparation, such as adding full controller support, dynamically changing the UI, and extensive playtesting to get the feel just right! We have passed Steam's checks to get our game verified on the Steam Deck!

We even get a nice green check of our own!

We are elated to bring this change to you as we continue to explore creating games for different gaming platforms and experiences!

With such a large update to the controls when playing with a controller, we recommend you have another look at the Tutorial in the settings page to get acquainted with the changes and become the most efficient WooLoop player on the Steam Deck!

Alternatively, just dive right in and use the UI as your guide!

Steam Cloud Sync Update

As part of this change, we have increased the file size limit on the Steam Cloud for WooLoop to the maximum of 10GB to ensure your game files can be carried easily through the cloud!

If you regularly play on PC, quickly launch the game on PC to trigger your Steam Cloud to update before trying out the Steam Deck for the first time.

New Features and Misc

• Steam Deck Support - We are now formally Steam Deck Verified!

• New Gamepad Features

  • You can now pan the camera with the right analogue stick.

  • When using the controller, the UI now tells you what the controls are for navigating the various menus of the main game scene. The Delete, new game plus and tutorial windows should now be much easier to use.

  • You can now hold the bumper buttons down to cycle through the colour pallet, worlds and settings quickly.

• Added support for the Seasons DLC

Bug Fixes and Misc

• Fixed an issue where the tutorial was not navigable when opened in the main game scene.

• Steam Cloud sync now has more allowed space which ensures that all your save files will transfer automatically to new devices.
