2.0.0 - Unlimited Buffet!
Hello Chefs!
I'm excited to announce the new update for Snacktorio, "Unlimited Buffet", is out now! This update brings some new content, new features, new QoL and a bunch of bug fixes and performance improvements.
The main new thing is the addition of 4 new "infinite" levels. Previously W5 had the only infinite level, now there's one for each world, each unlocked after you have beaten the 5th main level of the world. Infinite levels have no set 'end' - the order rates keep increasing each time you meet them, so your limit is how far you can push the map (or your computer!)
Along with this is a blueprint system to make prefabs, updated and improved map, configuration settings for default build options, and a bunch of other bits and bobs - you can read the full breakdown below! I've tried to cover all the different feedback and suggestions from you all over the last few months, so hopefully there's something for everyone <3
This will be the final update for Snacktorio for the time being, apart from any bug fixes of course! Thanks so much to everyone who has been playing the game - if you've been enjoying the game, or the new content, be sure to leave a review!
Bon Appétit! ~ Ell
Update Notes
INFINITE LEVELS
Infinite levels are levels without a set end - each time you meet the order rates you get a rank and the rates increase.
-
Added 4 new infinite levels!

Tackle unlimited soups in W1-S: Souped Up
-
Supply monstrous amounts of cheeses in W2-S: Cheesed Off
-
Rack up jars of Chilee Crisp + Gobchujang in W3-S: Hot And Bothered
-
Help make Verr'dahn's favourite food in W4-S: Ashes To Ashes
-
Changed inf levels so that if you're meeting a much higher rank rate when a new rank is given, you'll skip up to that rank
-
Improved performance for large factories with 100s of active machines
-
Added 'elevators' to infinite levels to quickly get between the top and bottom of them
-
You can now change hammer 'brush' size for mining larger chunks at once using right-click ("X" on gamepad)
-
Fixed infinite levels sometimes showing {{RANK}} in the rank dialogue
BLUEPRINT PREFABS
You can now create blueprint 'prefabs' which are set 7x7 areas to design reusable prefabs. Head to your S4NDB0X to find 8 specially marked areas where you can create your blueprints!
-
Create up to 8 different blueprint prefabs in the sandbox
-
Place prefabs in any level using the blueprint tool's new third tab, 'Prefabs'
-
Use middle-click as a shortcut when using the blueprint tool to open the prefab tab
-
Prefabs can't be placed if you don't have enough resources, or are not allowed machines inside
UPDATED MAP
The map has been updated, to provide a more detailed zoom level with togglable layers. There's also a new 'diagnostics' tab to view all machines in the map in one location.
-
Updated map design and added more detailed view when zoomed in
-
Added layer toggles for all layers of the map, blocks, machines, pipes etc
-
New 'diagnostics' tab to view all machines currently in the map
-
View errors and bottlenecks of individual machines from the diagnostics tab
-
You can hold click on any error or bottleneck machine to view it's location on the map
-
You can now export the map of any level to show off or share with other players!
-
Exported maps are in the same place as your saves, in a folder called 'maps'
CONFIGURATION OPTIONS
A new configuration page has been adding, accessed through Settings > Configuration. Here you can change how defaults work when it comes to placing and configuring machines!

-
Option to allow pipe directions automatically setting I/O to machines when the pipes face towards or away from them
