Pricing

We’ve seen some discussions on the price increase and just wanted to provide some clarity. The price increase to the base game and DLC is the intended release price of the game, meaning that when we are ready to take Ghosts of Tabor out of Early Access, the price will not increase again; as titles leaving Early Access typically do. With our App Lab graduation to the full Meta Quest Store – we wanted to keep price parity across all platforms we are currently available on – so players can choose which platform they want to play on without price being a factor.

We also want to reiterate that more (free) updates are planned and scheduled throughout 2024, we’re far from done.

Independence Edition

And speaking of parity - celebrating the launch on Meta Quest Store, we’re launching the all new and time-limited Independence Edition Upgrade on both platforms and exclusively available 30 days only starting February 8.

Due to how the different platforms allow us to preview products, you can find the Independence Edition Starter Pack and wishlist here waiting for its release on February 8, 10 am PT, The Base game and Independence Bundle will also be available on Steam starting at the same time to align the platform offers.

We’ve heard the feedback from many users who were sad to miss the original Founding Fathers Edition, which was only available 30 days from Early Access launch. Our Founding Fathers will always be close to our hearts as the early supporters of the game, and after an open discussion with the Founding community on Discord, we decided to launch the Independence Edition for this occasion.

The Independence Edition will:

• Only be available for 30 days starting February 8, 2024

• Will grant all current and future DLCs for free! This is the current Ultimate Deluxe Edition of the game.

• Will grant its buyer an in-game arm patch, “Liberty Bell” to recognize the support to the game

A special note to our Founding Fathers, you can purchase the Independence Edition should you so wish, but all content is already included in Founding Fathers Edition as the highest-tier supporter of the game. You will in a future update have access to both arm patches, and be able to swap them out.
