With the release of Denizen 1.0, we're officially marking the end of over two years in Early Access and the beginning of an exciting new chapter!

During Early Access, we've introduced tons of new content, expanded existing features, and made countless improvements based on community feedback.

Let's take a look back at some of the biggest additions along the way!

Missions

New missions and storylines have been added throughout Cedar Shores, introducing new characters, locations, and challenges, with more to come in future updates!

Retail Expansion

Retail businesses have received major expansions, including improved inventory management, product ordering, deliveries, and additional ways to manage your stores. Build your retail operation and keep your shelves stocked to maximize profits!

Careers and Business Management

New careers and expanded job opportunities have been introduced, along with the ability to take ownership of businesses. Work your way up, make management decisions, and oversee daily operations as you build your business empire!

Vehicles, Tuning, Drag Racing, and Car Crusher

The vehicle experience has expanded with new cars, performance upgrades, customization options, and improved driving mechanics. Put your tuned vehicles to the test at the Cedar Shores Drag Strip, or explore the city in style!

Arcade

An arcade has been added, featuring a variety of playable games, including skee ball, basketball, and more. Earn tickets, redeem prizes at the prize counter, and grab a bite to eat at the arcade lounge.

Fishing

Fishing has been introduced as a new activity, allowing you to catch a variety of fish at the lake, develop your fishing skills, and sell your catches for extra income!

Cooking

Prepare your own meals with the cooking system! Purchase ingredients from the grocery store, discover recipes, and improve your cooking skills as you create a variety of dishes.

Social

The social system has been expanded with new characters, interactions, and activities. Build friendships, spend time with others, and develop relationships as you explore life in Cedar Shores.

Properties

A variety of new properties have been added, giving players more places to call home or establish their operations. Purchase and furnish properties throughout Cedar Shores, from modest residences to luxurious homes.

Narcotic Production

Explore a riskier way to earn money with narcotic production! Acquire equipment and supplies, manufacture products, and use the Black Market to support your operation. Just be careful—the potential profits come with serious risks!

Challenges

Take on daily tasks and challenges across a variety of gameplay activities! Track your progress, earn rewards, and work toward completing everything Cedar Shores has to offer.

Character Customization, Hair Salon, and Medi Spa

Character customization has been significantly expanded with new appearance options and an overhauled character creator. Visit the hair salon or medical spa to change your look after beginning your journey!

Full Controller Support and Third-Person Mode

Full controller support and third-person gameplay have been introduced, giving players more ways to experience Denizen.

User Interface

The game's user interfaces have undergone extensive redesigns, bringing improved visuals, consistency, and usability. Navigation, inventory management, the map, and numerous other interfaces have received major improvements.

Performance, Fixes, and Improvements

Countless optimizations, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements have been made throughout Early Access. From improved performance and visuals to refined gameplay systems, controls, and audio, we've continued working to make Denizen a smoother and more enjoyable experience.
