Serious Update #1 Live Now!

Hey, Sams! A new Serious Sam: Shatterverse update is available now, bringing a round of fixes, quality of life improvements, and a little extra polish across the Shatterverse.

Here’s what’s changed:

**Gameplay & Quality of Life ** • Added a blend delay for the SOP38 Pistol when aiming for smoother transitions. • Default Camera Smoothing is now off for mouse & keyboard and on for controllers. • Fixed the weapon wheel getting stuck on screen when using the ping function. • Fixed the weapon wheel getting stuck after clicking on it. • Fixed the Flying Razors Intel description, which previously made it look like the Intel got worse at higher ranks. The displayed percentage will now correctly increase with each rank. • Fixed Small Lava Golems ignoring Retro Sam’s decoy clone after upgrading it with the Luring Intel. • Fixed several spots where standing on certain decorations could cause enemies to completely ignore the player. Nice try. • Fixed weapons sometimes failing to spawn alongside the weapon chest in Clockwork Arena.

**Stability & Other Fixes ** • Fixed a possible crash when defeating Rogue Netricsa in solo mode. • Fixed unnecessary empty achievement updates.

The team is also digging through your feedback and working on a larger balance update coming soon, with more adjustments based on what we’ve been seeing from players since launch.
