News: Update 1.2 & Gatekeeper: Crustad

Version 1.2

[p align="start"]The free major update 1.2 has grown larger than expected, so its release is shifting by about a month.

[p align="start"]But before you worry - here’s what’s coming.

Fully Reworked Artifact Ban System

[p align="start"]We’ve completely redesigned the artifact ban system in the Emporium. Previously, you had only 10 ban slots for the entire artifact pool. Now you have 40 slots total, split into 5 artifact categories.

[p align="start"]Slots unlock as you discover artifacts within their category. And most importantly, banning is now free. Experiment with builds as much as you like.

Aspect System

[p align="start"]Aspects are gameplay modifiers that can make your run more challenging - or easier. We’ll share more details later.

Soul Engine

[p align="start"]A new type of mission. Activate the Soul Engine and defeat enemies within its area to charge it.

Altar of Interception

[p align="start"]An optional activity. Summon the Fugitive and see what he’s hiding in his backpack.

[p align="start"]And that’s not all - we’ll reveal more closer to release.

Gatekeeper: Crustad

[p align="start"]A paid DLC (at a fair price, we promise) that lets you travel to the planet Crustad, fight Lord Crustad, and attempt to rescue your fellow gatekeeper - Maverick.

[p align="start"]A full overview will come later, but here’s a short list of what to expect:

1. An alternate final boss with an exclusive soundtrack

3. A new planet and a new enemy roster
