REANIMAL – Bugfix Patch & HDR Update 

 

With this patch, we’ve addressed the most critical issues found in the latest DLC, The Prisoner, for REANIMAL, including DX11/DX12 crashes and a common softlock that could occur while playing the DLC. We’ve also added a few quality-of-life improvements for players using HDR. 

 

HDR improvements  

We’ve made several fixes and improvements to HDR, including improved DLSS quality and a fix for an issue where the wrong DLSS setting was displayed in the UI. We’ve also made improvements to color and contrast and added support for HDR10+ GAMING. 

 

**Bug fixes: ** 

• Fixed crashes on boot when running on DX12 (PC) 

• Fixed black screen issues when running on DX11 (PC) 

• Fixed a softlock where players could get stuck in the air when jumping down the hatch in the mall 

 

Known Issues: 

• In the Mall, when picking up the camera, climbing up the boxes a second time can cause the game camera to become stuck. This can be resolved by restarting from the checkpoint. 

 

Switch 2 Crossplay  

Please note that Crossplay with Switch 2 will be temporarily unavailable while the patch is being rolled out. It will be restored as soon as the update is live on Switch 2.
