New Airport Release: VHHH – Hong Kong International Airport

Controllers, welcome to Hong Kong.

Built on the island of Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong International Airport is a major international gateway and one of the world’s key cargo hubs. With its large airport layout, busy terminal areas, long taxi routes, and intense arrival and departure flow, VHHH offers a demanding new challenge for every virtual air traffic controller.

• Replaced runway lighting with the new style.

• Fixed taxi sign illumination.

• Fixed taxi center lights not being visible. These still use the old light style, but visibility has been improved.

• Updated point light intensity and range.

• Added point lights to surrounding roads.

• Adjusted ground model height and fixed some floating static objects.

• Replaced jetway material with transparent glass walkways.

• Updated the terminals file for greater Just Flight compatibility. More airlines are now included.
