Client Crashes Update

Thank you for your reports and for taking part in our surveys. Based on the results of our latest live client crash survey, as well as reports in other Discord threads and contacts with Customer Service, we can draw the following conclusions:

The vast majority of affected players experience crashes without any error messages. The second most common issue is connection loss related to network problems. Reports of anti-cheat kicks or operating system errors are significantly less common.

This is consistent with our own current statistics collected from crash dumps and logs. Therefore, we will continue to focus primarily on client crashes that do not provide players with any error message.

Here is what we have at the moment:

• GPU Monitor improvements — it will now collect more detailed information about the GPU and its driver before and at the moment of a crash in cases that are not handled by the operating system.

• Localization fix for the anti-cheat kick message — previously, the localization key was displayed instead of the actual text in all languages except English. Please see the screenshot below.

• Task Dispatcher deadlock fix — we have already prepared this fix, but it requires additional internal testing, so it will not be included in the October update. If testing goes smoothly, we plan to include it in a hotfix next week. This fix should reduce the likelihood of crashes.
