Dev Log: Decorating 🦇

In Moonlight Peaks, we want to put a strong emphasis on personalization and creativity. In this log, we’ll take a look at the various aspects of the decorating system, showcasing how players will be able to make their farming plot and home their own.

**Customising the Interior **Our goal is to offer an extensive selection of furniture sets and styles, ensuring there's something to suit every taste. We're making sure there are dark and light options, as well as some interesting options in between! We're currently also working on a feature that allows players to stack objects, granting even greater flexibility in interior design.

**Different House Styles **You'll have the freedom to handpick from a variety of roof styles, colors and window designs! We’re also adding different architectural styles for houses. From Gothic-inspired grandeur to rustic charm and cozy wooden cabins, we want players to have the power to harmonize their homes with their farm's theme.

**Expanding Interior Spaces **We want to give players the option to expand their home by unlocking additional rooms. These expansions can be obtained at the local Carpenter Shop in Moonlight Peaks, in exchange for a combination of resources and in-game currency. The local carpenter, brother of the Mayor, Ridge, will be taking care of all your additions.

**Farm Buildings **Beyond house expansions, we're also brainstorming a variety of farm buildings, including barns, silos, wells, mills, and more. These structures not only serve practical functions like crop storage and flour milling but also add to the overall charm of your farm.

**Unlocking Decorations **As the game progresses, players will be able to reach different milestones and complete quests. These achievements will not only progress the narrative, but also unlock new decorative items for their farm and home.

• Quest Rewards: Completing story-driven quests will yield unique and thematic decorations, such as rare flowers, enchanted crystals, and mystical artefacts.

• **Milestone Achievements: ** Reaching certain milestones, like harvesting a specific number of crops or nurturing animals, will grant players access to decorations that reflect their accomplishments.
