HoT Archives Preview V - 2026-10-15

Greetings Inquisitors,

This will be your final briefing of what to expect in the newly discovered Lost Archives. As a reminder: The Expedition will be starting on **22nd October **and open an entirely new Chapter of Cultists, Sacrifices and Judgement of those who defy us.

But now to the fundamentals. The Lost Archives entrance has been discovered by the Scriptor Guild when presented with 3 Marks of different classes. Studying them revealed a library with untold knowledge and hints towards special marks outside of the class system familiar to us. We’ve also found information about new artifacts, of which one was an old Scriptor tool used to create the very first Mark!

The main foes in the Archives are cultists that try to stop our progress, we are to survive the increasing onslaught of not only Cultists, but deadly spiders, bewitched armors and book wraths that we disturbed. If we can hold out long enough, the Lord of these halls should show themselves for a final confrontation.

Be wary inquisitor, we know it can be tempting for those who struggle to dip into blood magic not only for survival, but also to reach new heights. In these halls not only artifacts from the golden days but also hexed and accursed objects can be found that may try to steer you down a path from which there is no return…

Seek the black board for new guidings on our missions, you will find new quests for the Archives and to test your skill as Inquisitor and in other arts that may yet have to be discovered. Every new Quest will yield a new reward to discover!

One last note for when you enter the halls… keep an eye open for the books.
