Hi everyone!

We wanted to drop by with some news because a very important milestone is approaching for our little studio: Deified releases in version 1.0 today, September 21 at 5 PM GMT+1.

We’ve now been working on this game for more than two years, and seeing its full release finally approaching brings a huge sense of relief, a lot of excitement… and, if we’re being completely truthful, a little bit of vertigo too.

Deified is a project that means a lot to us.

With it, we wanted to create a tactical game where building your strategy, experimenting with your Relics, synergies and different builds would be at the heart of the experience. But we also wanted it to have a strong identity of its own, with a world, an art direction and a story that would give a soul to all those gameplay systems.

And most importantly, we didn’t build all of this alone.

Throughout development and Early Access, players have sent us an incredible amount of feedback, reported bugs, discussed balance with us, tested builds we would never have thought of ourselves and, sometimes, completely challenged some of our ideas.

The Deified we are releasing today is a much better game because of them.

If you enjoyed searching for the right combinations, adapting your strategy and experimenting in Artisan TD, we hope you’ll find some of that same enjoyment in Deified, even though this new game will take you on a very different adventure.

Thank you to everyone who played Artisan TD, left us a review, sent us a message, told others about the game or simply kept following what Unexpected was working on.

Every game we’ve been able to create exists in part because players decided to follow us from one project to the next.
