PATCH V2.4 - ZeroRanger Collab, ASIO support, and more!

We're back with September's free update to 2.4 on PC! **It features a surprise collaboration with System Erasure's iconic shmup, ZeroRanger, which is celebrating its 8th Anniversary! **That's basically as long as it's been since we started working on UNBEATABLE. We're adding Resonant Union's breathtaking remix of It May Be Greenish, titled It May Be Greenish -That Future of Ours-, featuring a whole slew of VGM musicians performing the opening track from the game. The update also includes "shut up until i'm done" from UNBEATABLE's story mode as a playable track, and a new STAR chart for EMPTY DIARY: "UNWRITTEN".

There might be more to come in collaboration with System Erasure in the future, too...

Oh, uh, also ASIO support is in the game. Some of you just screamed out loud reading that

2.4 FULL PATCH NOTES:

• Added the following content to ARCADE MODE:

  • "It May Be Greenish -That Future of Ours-" from ZeroRanger Arranged Album -GREEN ARRANGE- as a playable track

  • "shut up until i'm done" as a playable track

  • "EMPTY DIARY"
    STAR difficulty chart.

• Added ASIO support. Hey, usually the process for these patch notes announcements is Jeff writes up the base version of the post and then RJ (me) does a pass and that pass is what you read. So I (me, RJ) want to just go off on a small tangent just talking for a second here because I have to emphasize how big of a deal this is. ASIO is so much faster than the standard audio support. It's, like, what my DAW uses. Basically If you're running an ASIO-capable audio interface and have a monitor made this decade you really have no excuse now besides just being bad at the game if you're bad at the game.

• Added the ability to select the audio device the game uses, related to see above

• Added Audio Latency options (lower values reduce latency, but may cause audio crackling!)

• Fixed several additional save/load/backup issues. Phew.

• Adjusted text sizing for metadata in ARCADE MODE. More letters can fit in without it c

  ** - Changed the default stage for NO EULOGIES to feature the music video while you play it. If you haven't seen that video yet please watch it
