Sim Companies Weekly Update Summary

Hello everyone! While these updates are automatically applied to your game (does not require Steam update), we wanted to keep you informed about what's new!

I was off on a trip for a week. Back to our regularly scheduled programming!

Updates:

May 28, 2026

• Change Castle recreational building for Temple, with new graphics

May 27, 2026

• Updated UI for Research Detail screen - modal with details about what was gained

May 26, 2026

• Company name change costs 15 simboosts, and is free for the first 7 days.

• The maximum salary that can be offered to an executive is now capped based on the gross profit of the company. Motivation: Avoid fat finger problems and poaching abuse.

May 25, 2026

• 4 more PA quests added

• The Launchpad queue now "consumes" the rocket when the launch is scheduled. This avoids launch queue failures caused by inventory shortages at launch time.

• Added an easy way to copy and share Gross Profit from the Income Statement with other players in chats.

• Add option to auto-renew upkeep for recreational buildings

• Recreational buildings no longer contribute to production and sales bonuses while in the reposition queue (exploit patched).

• Animated resources purchased on the Exchange.

• Added an easy way to copy and share Company overview text and Cash Receipts with other players in chats.

• Added new graphics for Catering

• Added new graphics for Park

• Updated graphics for construction slot

• Added ground floor for Exchange

• Company private notes closely integrated with chat and contacts. Notes are visible under the company name and can be edited directly on the chat screen.

• Facebook API version updated to v25.0 (used for authentication)

• Renamed "Steel beams" to "Beams" in English across the game for clarity (same resource).
