1.0 Release Date

Hello Miners,

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is leaving Early Access and hitting 1.0 on September 17th, 2025.

We announced the date at the Triple-i Initiative showcase. Watch the trailer below if you haven’t already (you should watch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnNhA7vLgZ0), it’s incredible).

The last few seconds of the trailer tease one of the major features coming in the 1.0 update: Gear.

What is it? How does it work? How do you get it? We’ll get into that soon. But here’s what you should know now: Gear is not just a minor tweak. It’s a brand-new system that will shake up the meta layer. And that’s just one piece of what’s coming.

We’ll go deeper on Gear in its own post soon.

There is a lot more to reveal. Over the next few months, we’ll dig into the rest of what 1.0 brings. New features, new systems, and a few surprises. It’s the biggest update we’ve ever made. By the time it lands, what you’re playing now will feel like… Early Access.
