HOTFIX NOTES

Eternal Matchmaking

As we mentioned earlier, the design of this feature is an ongoing work-in-progress with the community based on your feedback, and we’re already seeing the fruits of that relationship. Today’s hotfix will add a much requested feature; providing players the option to search for groups in specific tiers, rather than an expanding search over time.

On the Eternal screen, we’ve added options, to allow players to opt-into a stricter matchmaking. Players can then select which of the tiers they are eligible for that they want to search within, and the matchmaking will only look to match with players in those tiers. This can potentially increase queue times, however we’re interested in seeing how this affects the quality of matches made and what the feedback is for this feature moving forward.
