8/14更新+开发进度日志
[p align="start"]Hi,
Laoai from the dev team again,
[p align="start"]Today we'll continue with the August update content and a brief overview of today's update; however, before we begin, let's keep you updated on the progress of the full map we've been working on.
This is from the last post:
[p align="start"]Here's this week:
[p align="start"]To make it easier for players to intuitively identify their current state and which state they've crossed while traversing the world map, the color of each state's terrain has been varied. (Of course, the game will also display "Entered State X" when traversing a state.)
The terrain has also been further refined, with the size and edges of coastlines, rivers, and lakes being made more natural and realistic.
Our map editor(yes, in singular form) will continue to polish and refine various passageways, passes, and the locations of routes between cities and strongholds. Then, all the cities and strongholds will be added, ensuring that roaming the world map becomes an enjoyable experience, rather than just wandering through narrow alleys.
[p align="start"]Which city fortresses will be strategically located, easily defended and difficult to attack, and which will be strategically important and vulnerable? These will all be clearly reflected in the upcoming Kyushu update. Stay tuned!
In the coming weeks, I will also discuss the new troop roles and unique characteristics of the seven kingdoms to help you choose your initial kingdom in the new version.
The world map and complete seven kingdom content will be released in the October update.
For details on the update plan, please refer to the previously announced update roadmap.
As for the August update, in addition to the previously mentioned features such as retainer skills, the granting of ideas, and hero aspiration trait specialization,
Today, I'll talk about another important aspect: improvements to the horseback riding combat experience.
Many players have previously mentioned that when riding a horse, the direction of arrow shooting and movement cannot be separated. This will also be improved in this month's update:
[p align="center"]A drawn bow can be turned back to shoot an arrow.
But don't worry, today Laoai isn't just here to only bake pancakes!
The August update test has passed preliminary review, and everyone can now experience it directly through the test branch!!
(Including the mounted arrow turning back and some new mounted combat actions are not yet implemented.)
Please note that save files for the beta version will not be compatible with the regular version; please be sure to save your game data separately.
[p align="start"]
[p align="start"]Finally, here's the 26th update for the regular branch on August 14th:
-
Fixed an issue where some story quests wouldn't trigger after entering the trigger range.
-
Fixed an issue where the game would inexplicably freeze after switching scenes in the story.
-
Fixed an issue where the skill items displayed in the character creation interface were inconsistent with those in the game.
-
Fixed an error when calculating the combat team's damage.
-
Fixed an error when riding a horse under certain circumstances.
Thank you for reading this far.
