Gallipoli - Free Ali Al Muntar Expansion Teaser

It’s only been two weeks since the amazing launch of Gallipoli, yet we’re already getting ready for the first big content update: Ali Al Muntar.

If you didn’t catch it during the FPS Games Show, have a look at a teaser of what’s to come:

The Ali Al Muntar Expansion arrives on October 1st, bringing along a free new map that features mobile tanks for the first time in the series, 4 free new weapons, and 2 new paid cosmetic DLC!

We’ll do a full deep dive into the map and its history in two weeks, but for now, here are some of the highlights of the map:

• Tanks escort the attackers in a cinematic opening of the assault.

• The area features hills and farmland growing lots and lots of cacti, one of the main exports of the region.

• Rows of cacti break line of sight at ground level, segmenting the farmland and creating corridors.

• The final sector is set atop Mound Ali Muntar, crowned by the Ali Al Muntar shrine (or maqām).

The new weapons will be revealed in due time, but maybe you can already guess what’s coming by their silhouettes on the roadmap?

Finally, the two new paid cosmetic DLC featured on the roadmap above are also coming on October 1st. These are:

• Khaki Pack, introducing the West Kent subfaction.

• Black Watch Pack, introducing the Scottish subfaction.

Both these DLC are part of the Second Expedition, so they’ll automatically be added to your game when they release if you already own the Second Expedition Season Pass.

That’s all we’re revealing for now, but stay tuned for more details to appear throughout September.
