The Posthumous Investigation is Out Now!

After years of development, we are beyond proud to announce that The Posthumous Investigation is officially available on Steam.

Brás Cubas is dead. He knows someone killed him, he just doesn't know who. So he did the only logical thing: he hired a detective. You.

Trapped in a time loop in 1937 Rio de Janeiro, you have one day to solve his murder. Over and over again, until you get it right.

What awaits you:

• A hand-drawn noir world dripping with atmosphere and dark humor

• 14 unique characters, each with their own secrets and schedules to uncover

• A Thinking Board where only pure logic and no hand-holding will free you from the loop

• A satirical, witty adaptation of Brazil's most legendary author, Machado de Assis

This game was born from a love of literature, mystery, and the belief that Brazilian stories deserve to be heard around the world.

Thank you to everyone who wishlisted, played the demo, shared a post, or simply believed in this project. This one is for you.

The investigation begins now. Good luck, Detective. 🕵️
