Final Chapter: Ascend the Celestial Gate – Realm of Ink’s Fifth Arc Now Live!

Hello everyone! It has been nine months since Realm of Ink returned to shelves.

Over these nine months, we’ve delivered 3 major updates (Phoenix Rebirth, Mirage Sands, Clanging Swords, Mountains & Seas: Ink Bamboo) and countless smaller patches.

Today, we proudly announce the completion and launch of Chapter 5: The Final Chapter! All roadmap commitments to our players have now been fulfilled. Thank you for your unwavering companionship and support along the way.

🌸Here’s what this update includes: 

🎁New Content:

1. New Rare Perk [Taichu Hairpin]: Increases the amount of Ink Stone obtained by 15%.Unlock Ink Kirin Qingming at each Transit Station, and you can exchange Ink Stones for Elixirs at any time.

2. New Rare Perk [Zheying Needle]: When you Dash, enemies you touch gain a Sting Mark. This mark detonates after receiving a Light Attack/Heavy Attack, dealing an additional x damage. (Marks cannot stack)

3. New Rare Perk [Ascetic Whip]: Damage Reduction + 3%. Autocast every 12 seconds: triggers all effects that occur when you take damage.

4. New Epic Perk [Regret Stone]: Each time you make a 1-of-3 choice between Elixirs and Perks, you can refresh 1 time for free. (Does not apply to Cursed Rare Items, and free refreshes do not carry over to the next choice)

5. New Epic Perk [Shuangque Door Ring]: Effects triggered when you enter a new room have a 50% chance to trigger an additional time. (Excluding effects that restore HP or grant money)Non-stackable buffs such as Rare Item Whirlwind Ring and Stone-splitting Axe can have their stack count increased by 1.

6. New Epic Perk [Yao Ge Bell]: Drop rate of Legendary Elixirs + 20%, but the types of Legendary Elixirs are no longer bound to the Ink Gems you carry. When Elixir effects are triggered, there is a 20% chance to trigger an additional time.

7. New Epic Perk [Vermilion Bird Prayer Feather]: Drop rate of Boss Perks + 20%. (Added to the base drop rate)

8. New Legendary Perk [Book Spirit Broken Brush]: Drops a Ability Brush.

9. New Legendary Perk [Ink God Sun-Moon Wheel]: When you first use Ink Skill in Boss Room or Foe Forge, summons the Ink God's Punishment, dealing x damage to all enemies. (This damage counts as all damage types!)

📈Content Optimizations:

1. Decrease Trial Valley's time from 40s to 30s, and will also drop a perk chest

2. In Difficulty 7, Ink Gems dropped from Ink Gem Levels will have a minimum quality of rare. (The Ink Gem dropped at the beginning remains unchanged)

3. As long as you possess two Rare Ink Gems, your Ink Pet can use the Ink Pet Special Skill. However, its power and cooldown are inferior to those of a Level 3 Ink Pet. In addition, the overall damage of Legendary-tier Momos are increased by 20%.

4. Bleed effect adjustment: When Bleed is triggered by a critical hit, Bleed damage can now also critically strike. Critical-hit bonuses from items such as Tiger Elixir and Fury Fan will likewise affect Bleed damage.

5. Violetta Form's Ability
   no longer prevents thr player from obtaining Dance state. Instead, gain additional Dance buffs upon entering Dance state.

6. Violetta Form's Ability [Mystic Slash] deals +30% damage.

7. General Gor Form now can press Reward Preview (L Shift on keyboard, R3 on Controller) to return Blade immediately.

8. General Gor From can now move with 100% speed during Whirling Slash. (Used to be 20%)

9. A'kuan Form's [Leap Strike] change to "Heavy Attack will leave a Panda mark at chosen position, press Heavy Attack again to leap up (count as Dash) and smash down on the mark, dealing massive damage".

10. When having both A'Kuan Forms's Ability [Leap Strike] and [Sweeping Bamboo], you will immediately release [Sweeping Bamboo]'s wide-range swipe after the leap with +50% damage and +20% speed.

11. A'Kuan Form's Ability [Shadow Break] and [Drifting Leaf]'s damage +30%

12. Dr. Suen Form's Heavy Attack Range +30% (Also affects [Weather Array])

13. Dr.Suen Form's [Returning Feather] will also multiply Light Attack feather's damage by 1.25

14. You will gain a permanent Momo when having Dr. Suen Form's Ability [Power Trip] .

15. Grace Form's Primordial Ink Gem gains an additional attribute: Ink Skill Critical Chance +30%.

16. Grace Form's Ability [Ripple Blast]'s damage + 25%, it's Sublime state's damage + 50%.

17. Red Form's maximum charged Heavy Attack's damage +50% (also affecting Ability [Sky Sunder]).

18. Red Form's Ability [Endless Wave] will also be affected by [Lotus Blade] and [Dual Stance]'s damage incrument effect, and it's damage + 20%.

19. Red Form's Ability [Ripple Strike]'s damage +50%

20. Red Form's Ability [Lotus Cleaver] reworked:Upon entering a room, your Light Attack/Heavy Attack damage is multiplied by 2. Cannot stack, lasts for 8 seconds. (Can accumulate 2 stacks when having Perk [Shuangque Door Ring])

21. Damage with DOT affix such as [Venom Ink]'s feather, [Needle Ink]'s blood explosion, [Burning Ink]'s Ink Skill and [Noxious Crucible]'s Poison Explosion can now critically hit (some could not previously), only damage dealt by DOT status could not critically hit.

22. Epic, Legendary Tier [Venom Ink]: enemies receive + 20%,30% →  30%,50% Poison Damage for each Magic Circle they are in.

23. Legendary Tier [Venom Ink]: Poison Feather new deals Additional → Additional/Poison Damage.

24. Ink Gem [Burning Ink]: All tiers' Ink Skill damage + 100%.

25. Ink Gem [Stone Ink]: All tiers' Ink Skill damage + 100%.

26. Legendary Perk [Carefree Bamboo Contract] has been increasing damage by X1.15 by mistake (the description says x1.3), now the damage incrument is X1.2 after balancing, Worrryless Drink's Damage + 30%.

27. Common Perk [Toxic Arrow]: Poison duration +2s → Poison Stack Limit +1

28. Common Perk [Rhino Horn Chalice]: Damage is multiplied by 130% → 150%to full health enemies.

29. Rare Perk [Torn Scroll]: Drop Separated Chapter also when you pass through Trial Valley, and you will not receive more damage when you in Foe Forge.

30. Rare Perl [Shadow Kite]: damage +30%.

31. Rare Perk [Blood Hex]: damage +50%.

32. Rare Perk [Joyfire Cracker]: Size and orbit radius of the fire ball +30%, damage +30%.

33. Epic Perk [Blood Banner]: requires a recharge of 8s → 6s.

34. Epic Perk [Venom Plume]: Poison Ring's damage +50%

35. Epic Perk [Blessed Armor]: damage +50%

36. Epic Perk [Empowered Corslet]: for every 1 damage you receive, the Shield Blast deal +3% damage.

37. To counter the legendary Ink God, Legendary Perk [Crimson Fox Elixir]: Crimson Fox Fire deals x2 damage!

38. Legendary Perk [Resentful Dragon Scale]: Dragon Breath's damage + 100%.

39. Legendary Perk [Sunglasses]: Ink Blast's damage +50%.

40. Legendary Perk [Ruinsome Tusk]: For every stack of Bleeding on an enemy, increases their chance to be critically hit by 0.5% → 1%, as well as the Critical Damage they receive by 1% → 1.5%.

41. Legendary Perk [Fury Amulet]: Damage Modifier + 1.5% → 2% everytime you deal damage.

42. Legendary Perk [Fiery Wheel] new attribute added: For each 1 stack of Burning on an enemy, the Additional and Ink Skill damage they take is increased by 5%.

43. Rare Elixir [Inkspark Elixir] reworked: Curse Effect +2.5%

🔧Debug：

1. Fixed an issue where General Gor Form's [Frost Pulse] can not make damage count as both Light Attack and Heavy Attack after you throw blade.

2. Fixed an issue where text will not apear when you get silver coins sometimes.

3. Fixed an issue where some VFX of Flame Shark Envoy from North Abyss will not disappear.

4. Fixed an issue in the Monk Jin form where obtaining [Golden Wheel Strike] upon having [Guardian Wheel] did not correctly increase the damage of the Guardian Wheel Ink Pet.

5. Fixed an issue where Perk-related attributes—such as Perk Damage, Perk Critical Chance, and Perk Trigger Chance—did not function correctly on [Ink Ember Box].

6. Fixed an issue where the Fire-Fire Ink Pet would remain idle for an extended period when performing its enhanced attack.

With the original full version content now complete, we will begin cross-platform porting (PS/Xbox/Switch) and use the remaining time to revamp the "Diverse Realms" gameplay system.
