Darkest Dungeon: The Original Canon Graphic Novel, now live on BackerKit

Glory and honor to that ragged band whose triumph healed the world. Unfortunately, peace has never sat comfortably beside the Darkest Dungeon.

Today, Vault Comics and Red Hook Studios invite you to descend once again with Darkest Dungeon: The Original Canon Graphic Novel, now live on BackerKit.

This brand-new 180+ page canon adventure takes place after the events of Darkest Dungeon II and comes from writer John Lees, artist Maan House, and Darkest Dungeon creative director and Red Hook Studios co-founder Chris Bourassa.

CHOOSE YOUR EDITION

The graphic novel will be available in both Standard and limited Deluxe Editions, each containing the same complete 180+ page story and eligible bonus material unlocked during the campaign.

But the Deluxe Edition is not yet finished!

Additional production treatments and hidden upgrades are scattered throughout the expedition, waiting to be discovered.

EXPLORE THE DUNGEON

The campaign itself has become an expedition.

As we complete objectives, we will progress through a dungeon map filled with rewards, upgrades, secret rooms, and challenges.

Our opening path has been set. What happens after that? That will depend on the expedition.

Backers will eventually determine which paths we take through the dungeon and which secrets we pursue. So gather your courage, provision wisely, and remember:

Curiosity is a dangerous bedfellow… yet no great deed was ever wrought without it.
