Joining The Beta? Read This First!

Hello Everyone!

We've seen a few questions about the beta, so we wanted to gather our responses in a nice clear spot for you all! Please remember that as this is a beta, and it's highly likely you'll run into bugs and issues! 

 

We suggest you start a new save in the beta, as there are currently issues with progress carrying over (details below)

 

Save backups: 

We Recommend backing up your save games before you do this, just in case something goes wrong!

• Step One: Open up file explorer in windows, then paste the following into the address bar: %localappdata%/LegendOfKhiimori/Saved/SaveGames

• Step 2: Select the SaveGames folder, copy it with the right click menu, and then paste it somewhere else (I personally use my desktop!)

Known issues:

There a couple of major known issues which we'll be addressing in a hotfix at the start of next week:

• When you load in, your current discoveries will be lost, your yam network rank reduced back to 0 and any projects you've completed (e.g. bridges) will be incomplete. 

• Saves can currently exceed 100mb if you sell alot of horses to the horse merchant, which can cause issues with steam cloud saves.

How can I swap back to the live branch?

You'll be able to swap back to the live branch and carry on as normal. If there are any issues with your save then you'll be able to copy back your save from before the beta and carry on from there.
