Devlog #2 - Interrogating NPCs, new minigames

Hi everyone,

I'm still hard at work on the 1.2 update and I wanna share some new mechanics with you. There are some really interesting ones.

Interrogation

Once you’ve tied someone up, you’ll be able to interrogate them to uncover safe and keypad codes, locate traps, and more. This requires a brand-new skill, so plan your builds carefully if you want to make the most of it.

Electronic safe & new hotwiring minigame

A brand-new electronic safe has been added to the game. You can open it in one of two ways:

• Learn the code through interrogation

• Or crack it yourself with a Level 2 Electronics skill

The hotwiring minigame has also received an overhaul - more engaging, and inspired by the TS2 minigame.

Radar improvement

Previously, you could only flag one item on the radar. Now, you can flag up to 3 objects, and unflag them with the right click.

Magic lever and police jammer

Two new furniture items are making their debut:

• Magic Lever - Instantly transports loot from your truck straight to the delivery box in your hideout.

• Police Jammer - Slows down police calls and delays their arrival, buying you more time.

New map sneak peek

I'm focusing on the new map now. Here's a small showcase.

Other Notable Changes

• Tied-up NPCs now have a visible timer before they break free.

• 10 new achievements to unlock.

• If your health is above 120, you won’t be instantly taken down by a taser.
